West Highland Museum Expansion
Cameron Square, Fort William PH33 6AJ, United Kingdom
What is the West Highland Museum?
Founded in 1922, the West Highland Museum started with nothing but a vision from Victor Hodgson and a small group of locals. From the beginning, the museum has aimed to celebrate the rich history and culture of the West Highlands by preserving and showcasing significant artifacts from the Neolithic to the Jacobean and on to the Second World War. Dedicated to being a vibrant community hub in Lochaber, it provides locals and visitors alike with engaging exhibits and a deeper understanding of the region’s past. The museum strives to be an inviting space where people can explore, learn, and connect with the heritage of the Highlands.
Why donate?
All donations to AFHC will be used to support object conservation, learning and community engagement and plans to expand the museum, including the creation of new museum spaces.
